open up the gates, what do you see
Inside deep and dark
merely a girl lurking
Trying to find,
what she hides on the inside
Wanting to give it all
yet scared to take the fall.

the fire burns bright
she's trying to find
the one thing to complete lift

a stiff upper lip
sorefilled eyes
