Walking back from a exam that seem to have went too well the snow falls, coating my hair and soaking my face. But I can't seem to care. My once black boots are coverd in a shimmering white power that sparkles the way only snow can when i pass a street light. My nicely knit sweater starts to freeze and i'm sure the mascara i carfuly applied just hours before is surely melting. But i don't care i think, as i can't help but stick out my toung to catch a presious snowflake and feel it melt and trickle down the back of my throat. The snow clinging the the rim of my boots slowls melts dampening my socks just a little. The sun has set, nand now the snow falls coating the my world making everything seem perfectly untouched and pure. As a round the last turn before my apartment, the street light blinks on and off again the song changes and i'm left to listen it "on a night like this" Dave Barnes managed to catch my every though, and played it back in beautiful words, and i doubt he knows that.
On a night like this I could fall in loveI could fall in love with youIn this dark so dense, we talk so softThe way young lovers doThe days last sight turns to cool nights breezeAnd this love hangs thick like these willow leavesIve hid myself away from thisBut your silhouette is the Judas kissOn a night like this I could fall in loveI could fall in love with you
Or atleast i wish i could say these words. But in either way listening to them while feeling the snow gently hit my face and begining to melt cals my fears and strenthens my hopes. This is what perfection is. Perfection is the snow falling, Perfection is the rain hitting your window, Perfection is nature, beauty and purety. When the snow falls i feel perfect, I feel at home, I feel at peace. It's never to cold when the snow is falling, It's never to harsh when the snow falls. The only thing it would be is perfect.
perfection
